Valier was redistricted and met some new competition. We had a fine team which had three wins and several close games. All in all it was a good season and an improvement over the past seasons at VHS. Under the direction of Candy Haynes, captain; Janine Adams, Secretary-Treasurer; Sanda Stark, Historian; and Mrs. Rhodes, sponsor; the CaValiers had a memorable and rewarding year. The group traveled to the LC1 Invitational Basketball Tournament, Fairfield, and the District Basketball Tournament, but the majority of the performances were at home.
