class officers wer e Ron Speer, Pres. ; Dale Shepard, Vice-Pres. ; and Diana Dabney, Sec. -Treasurer; Tish Bruner was Treasurer of the Student Council. We started the year off with the annual initiation. Trudy Sanson was Crowned Homecoming Queen of 1961. Diane Dabney was our Harvest Festival Candidate, Lynn Boumans represented us for Peanut Queen Candidate. B Squad Cheerleaders were Lynn Boumans, Gayle Went- worth, and Tish Bruner. Our Sophomore year we gained Alan Russel, and Jim White. Our class officers were Lynn Boumans, Pres., Mike Harwood V- Pres. , Carol Chatlain, Treasurer; and Tish Bruner, Secretary. Tish Bruner was Sec. of the Student Council. We started our year off by torturing the new Freshmen. Tishie Bruner was crowned Homecoming Queen, Gayle Wentworth ran for Harvest Festival Queen, and Diane Dabney was our Peanut Queen candidate. John Kuka was the F.H. A. King candidate. A squad cheerlead- ers were Janie Burgess, and Lynn Boumans. B squad Cheerleaders were Gayle Went- worth, and Trudy Sanson. Ron Speer lettered in football, and Pete Habits lettered in B squad Basketball. We lost Junior Pepion, Laura Wheeler, Alan Russel, and Jim White. Our Junior year our class officers were Rick Gibson, Pres, ; Bruce Davis, V-Pres. ; Tish Bruner, Sec.; and Diane Dabney, Treasurer. Larry Majerus was Vice-President of the Student Council and Gayle was Representative. Gayle Wentworth was our Home- coming Candidate, Mary Wenzel our Harvest Festival Candidate, and Karen Carlson our Peanut Queen Candidate. Larry Majerus was F.H. A. King Candidate. We High- lighted our Junior year with An Evening in Paris, our Junior Prom. A squad cheer- leaders were Lynn Boumans, Gayle Wentworth, Trudy Sanson, and Tish Bruner. Letters were given to the following in football: Daryl May, Bruce Davis, Larry Majerus, Rick Gibson, Ron Speer, Ron Elings, Dale Shephard, John Kuka, and Allan Stikes. Basket- ball letters were given to Pete Habits, Daryl May, Rick Gibson, and Dale Shepard. That year we lost Ron Elings, Diane Dabney, Trudy Sanson, and Gayle Wentworth. Our Senior Class officers were Ron Speer, Pres. ; Larry Majerus, V-Pres, ; Carol Chatlain, Sec. ; and Daryl May, Treasurer. Bruce Davis was Student Body President and Mike Harwood was our Representative to the Student Council. Jane Burgess was A squad cheerleader. This year all our Queen Candidates won. Lynn Boumans was Homecoming Queen, Tish Bruner was Harvest Festival Queen, and Janie Burgess was Peanut Queen. Carol Chatlain and Ron Speer were crowned Miss and Mr. Valier High School at our Christmas Formal. Football letters were awarded to Daryl May, Bruce Davis, Butch Pulver, Rick Gibson, Larry Majerus, Mike Harwood, Dale Shephard, Ron Speer, Wes McComb, Forest Karlsgodt, and Steve Kincaid. Basketball letters were awarded to Dale Shepard, Daryl May, Rick Gibson, Mike Harwood, Wes McComb, Alan Stokes, and Steve Kincaid. We held Class Night on May 21, and Baccalaureate Services on Sunday May 23. We were Graduated on May Twenty-fifth, ninetten Hundred and sixty five, as the fiftieth graduating class.

Class History We started the first grade in the fall of 1952. We were the first class to start school in the new building. Our first grade teachers were Mrs. Houghton and Miss Nelson. Our class consisted of the following: Dona Asher, Victoria Barron, Nancy Bell, Carol Ann Belisle, Patty Boucher, Lynn Boumans, Frank Briden, Ladona Burchfield, Jane Burgess, Carol Chatlain, Dan Christiaens, Carol Deboo, Kenneth Driscoll, Richard Gibson, Lynn Gross, Florence Hartwell, Lewrence Hritsco, Leonard Hritsco, Linda Johnson, Linda Jones, Forrest Karlsgodt, Larry Majerus, Larry Marcum, Ken Moon, Diana Orr, Linda Parker, Allan Parr, James Pulver, Trudy Sanson, Dale Shepard, Pamela Simms, Ron Speer, Barbara Sporeleader, Denis Struss, Rodney Struss, Alan Stokes, Gayle Wentworth, Mary Wenzel, Mike Wenzel, Laura Wheeler, Rickie White, Bernard Widhalm, John Widhalm, Stephen Widhalm, Karen Woods, Diane Yeager, and Robert Yeager. That year we lost: Dona Asher, Carol Ann Belisle, Frank Briden, La- dona Burchfield, Linda Jones, Diana Orr, Pamela Simms, Denis Struss, Mike Wenzel, and Robert Yeager. Our second grade teachers were Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Issiacson. That year we gained Dana Dean, Steve Kincaid, Marjean Sorenson, and Linda Woods. We lost Carol Deboo, Kenneth Driscoll, Lynn Gross, Leonard Hritsco, Larry Hritsco, Marjean Sorenson, John Widhalm, and Linda Woods. Our third grade teacher was Mrs. Chris. That year we gained Leonard Parker, and Billy Hoover, and lost Billy Hoover. Our fourth grade teacher was Mrs. Alice Barrett. We gained Mark Bennett, Kenneth Dietz, John Fields, Connie Hegdahl, John Kuka, Steve McCadem, Wes McComb, James Schaible, Gary Schaible, and James Stephen. We lost Dana Dean, Kenneth Dietz, John Fields, James Schaible, Gary Schaible, and James Stephen. Mrs. Jenevie Lauffer was our fifth grade teacher. That year we gained Leslie Mauws, Daryl May, Janice Torske, and lost Steve McCadem. Our sixth grade teacher was Mr. Jensen, and we enter Junior High. We gained Clayton Hourning, and Lost Dan Christieans, Clayton Hourning, Larry Marcum, Diane Orr, Leonard Parker, Rodney Struss and Diane Yeager. Mrs. Mary Bare taught us in the seventh grade and we gained Pete Habets, Delores Parmelee, and Linda Woods. We lost Janice Torske and Linda Woods. Mr. John Martin was our eighth grade teacher. We gained Mike Harwood and lost Linda Parker and Florence Hartwell. We were graduated from grade school in the Spring of 1961. Our Freshman year we gained Tish Bruner, Ron Elings, and Diana Dabney from Dupuyer, and Bruce Davis, Junior Pepion, Mike Jackson, and Ivan Archdale. Our
