This modern, new, elementary school, built at the cost of $200,000, was completed February 6, and the grades moved in on the tenth. The dedication was held on March 8, at which W. R. Evans of Red Lodge was guest speaker. The building also houses the cafeteria and the health room. We're moving! Leaving the Old Stone Building. Mrs. Johnson and the Third Grade.

MUSIC The music department has grown considerably in the past two years with the addition of two new bass horns, alto and bass clarinets, with the filling out of other sections in the band, and with twenty new voices in the chorus. The band, chorus, and twirlers have made trips to Havre, Fairfield, Fort Benton, and Missoula in the past two years. Under the direction of Virgil Faulkner, the music department has become the largest voluntary participating organization in the school. Because of the added interest in both band and chorus, the quality of musicianship has reached an excellence never before attained in Valier Schools. Pat Chausse Piano Accompanist for Chorus
