They are as follows: Linda Hill, Arlene, Wingo, Barbara Dehn- bostel, Billie Boggio and Waneta Eubanks. , ,V The Sophomore class sponsored an all school' party to welcome the Freshman class. The Senior class sponsored a hay-ride for their 'sons and and daughters . L , The election of the paper staff was held today, with Agnes as editor. .. 4 . Waneta, JoAnn, Ruth and Mrs. Martin journeyed to Carbon- dale to a Press Conference. A bus load of students went to see a game between University of Illinois and U. L. C. A. The Junior Class sponsored a hay-ride and each Junior invited one guest. Game with Benton Chereb. We tied 19 - 19. G.A.A. sponsored a clean up campaign to buy a new royal blue velvet robe for the queen. We made 5B59.00. Junior and Senior Day at S. I. U. in Carbondale, Illinois.-, Queen nominations began today. A Six weeks exams today. Oh what a day! End of first six weeks. Report cards came out today. Game with U-High Qtherej. We lost 19 - 13. - Everyone came to school all dressed up today to look at the birdie. Mr. Spieth came to take personal pictures. The Sopho- more class had a weiner roast. The magician came to V. C.
