I'm from the southern part of Sweden from a town called Huskvaina, which is known for making motorcycles and sewing machines. There are about 100,000 inhabitants in my town. Nly school is called a gymna- sium and I'm in the nature and science line. You can choose your line but not your classes. All students have to read English for at least seven years. A schoolday is very different from here. You have about sixteen classes, but some of them you only have once or twice a week. I have two more years left in the gymnasium when I come back because I don't get any credit for this year. I like the way you have afterschool activities here. In Sweden all clubs are outside of school. I am very happy that I came here to the U.S.A. I have such a nice family, the Atchisons. I want to thank all of you for making this year such a fantastic, marvelous experience for me. I will always remember this year of 1978-79. Thanks. 11O! CLU BS AN D ORGANIZATIONS Nly name is Davor Radojicic. I am from Belgrade, the capi- tol of Yugoslavia. Now I'm living in a small Alpine home in California. I am delighted about going to Valhalla high school. This school is very different from European schools. For my purpose it is much better. I like to play soccer and chess. I also like smart girls. I am so impressed with the U.S.A. I will always remember this year.

Hello, my name is Hanna Quast. I am from Hamburg, West-Germany. Hamburg is a big city with the biggest harbor in Germany. I am seventeen years old. I have a brother who is fourteen years old. I am here in California only to visit my Aunt. In Germany there are different kinds of schools. The hrst school you have to go to for nine years. The second you have to go ten years and the third is the same as your high school. I hnished my ten year school in Germany and when I go back I have to start work. I like the Valhalla high school.
