STUDENTS AT NIALHALLA SOREN BAGGE - DENMARK IYIARITA KIARIIYIAA - FINLAND ASTIZID OPSAL - NORWAY When it comes to learning about other countries and dif- ferent societies, books and films are all very fine, but there's nothing like being a guest student in a home and school in another country, or perhaps hosting a foreign stu- dent. With other people, there is the chance to establish rapport, to exchange ideas, to examine and discuss the contrasts between the respective societies and, above all, to broaden the cultural background of those involved. That's why we have foreign exchange programs. This year our guests from abroad have been the students pictured here. We are grateful for their having come to Valhalla this year.
