S nifit lAJeek Uon5 of Ssrun I Involvement was the key word for this memorable week. It was a time for everyone to get involved that normally doesn ' t. It was filled with fun and everyone enjoyed dressing up for Pajama Day, 50 ' s Day, Dark and Spooky Day, Halloween Day and Blue and Gold Day. Valencia ' s Spirit Week had its traditional pie throw at all the members of the 1 985 Homecoming Court. The Homecoming Court members sit with their hands tied behind their back while other students throw pies at them. Spirit Week ends with a Homecoming assembly, including a parade of floats, and the crowning of the King and Queen. 8 Activities

The court stands patiently waiting for the announcement of this year ' s Homecoming King and Queen. 4. Ray Pallares ran for 164 yards against Western. Top ranked Valencia in Orange County League action in front of an estimated crowd of 4,700 at Valencia on Friday night. Western held an 18- lead going into the fourth quarter, and had to hang on as the Tigers came roaring back, making it a ballgame. Pallares rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns, and had another touchdown called back in the first quarter. 10 hlnilics
