The selecting of our attractive lime green class sweaters was the highlight of our sophomore year. Throughout the year we had mixed gym and dance parties. Our Pacific cruise on the S, S. Valencian at the end of the year will long be remembered by many of us. Like all juniors we began working hard to earn money for the juniorfSenior Banquet. XVe got off to a flying start with our Dunk the Dude Booth at the Ag Fair. At Christmas we sponsored a Saint and Sinner's Dance . Later in the year we gave our successful presentation of the three act play NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH. Due to these fruitful efforts, our junior year will never be forgotten by us or by the seniors of '54. At the Santa Ana Country Club on May 7, 1954, we honored the seniors with a banquet and dance that surpassed all other such affairs in the history of Valencia High School. Wearing our new class rings, we began our last year at Valencia. The year was packed full of activities. Outstanding among them were our class play I LOVE LUCY, ditch day at Snow Valley, and the presentation of the new senior bench as a memorial by the Class of '55, Today our stay at Valencia ends. Out of our kindergarten class of twentyfnine, thirteen are grad' uating with us plus thirty-three other students who joined our ranks over the past twelve years. We regretfully leave you, the Student Body of Valencia High School, and at this time sincerely wish you Good Luck for the future. CLASS OF '55.
