Clan af '56 This years Sophomore Class had many good times. They participated in the Ag Fair, celebrated Halloween by having a masquerade party, and the class sponsored a Sock Hop after the Avalon basketball game. There was a big turnout to the dance. Cardinal red was selected as the color for their class sweaters, Albert Barraza won the contest for the drawing of the emblem. His entry was a large tiger head emerging from a V, with the class numeral appearing on the tiger's mane. The class would like to thank their class officers, Cecilia Decasas, presidentg Bob Cunningham, vice-president: Mary Lou Apalategui, secretaryg and Carolyn jones, treasurer, for their fine job.
