They sponsored the dunkfthefdude machine at the Ag Fair and throughout the year the class sponsored many All School Dances. For their class play they presented Nothing But The Truth by James Mont' gomery. The play was about a young man who got into one dilemma after another trying to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth for twentyffour hours. The play was a big success. The Seniors were the guests of the Juniors at the annual JuniorfSenior Ban' quet which was presented in the first part of May. His entry was a large tiger head emerging from a V, with the class numeral appearing on the tiger's mane. The YfTeens had an interesting, as well as worthwhile, year. There were skating parties, hayfrides, pot' lucks and a Christmas party for the girls and their mothers. Their annual YfTeen Banquet included the girls and their par' ents. The theme was Dear Hearts and Gentle People. In April the girls made toys for the children in hospitals. jr. YfTeens made Pilgrim favors for the hospitals for Thanksgiving. They had a Christmas party, and they have a meeting every other Monday after school. Our Future Farmers, again this year sponsored the Ag Fair which was a huge success. There were livestock, concessions and exhibits and their regular delicious barbecue. The Ag boys took a couple of week-end trips to the Colorado River. They enjoyed themselves, swimming, water skiing, fishing and just loafing. The C.S.F. group was kept busy with two major projects: helping support a child in France, and pref paring a CARE package for Korea. Balboa Beach was the back' ground for Scholarship Ditch Day. At the first of the year jr. C.S.F. presented the jr. C.S.F. award to the person having the most points during his two years in lr. Hi Bowmanj. They sponsored, Care for Korea, two cup cake sales and with the money they gave to the St. jude Hospital and bought records for the lr. Hi dances. Around the track once every day we played proved to be a big job as most of the girls found out. Although we didn't go to playday fheld at Tustinj we played many good games out on our own field. By the end of the quarter every girl sported some bruise and hockey was wound up and proved to be a lot of fun. A bigger tumour than most years proved to be the case in Tennis. As a minor sport for first and second quarters we leamed all about the game and even played some. Mrs. Illsley helped us every Tuesday and Tennis this year proved a real success. N.
