Wheii we went outside. I was shocked and speechless. when out of the hig hlue sky came jim Manasxro in a helicopter painted orange with purple polka, dots. He said that he made all his money with his galloping dominoesu while the Rush was on. Then. from on top of the water tower a whistle hlew telling us it was lunchftime. So we walked down to The Big Smudgepot Restaurant . run by Nolherto Galindo. and there at a corner hooth sat Richard Gonzales eating chicken fried steak. We sat dovm at the counter and were waited on hy Emilia Munoz, the waitres. She called out our orders to Chef Henry DeCasas. When we had finished eating we went over to the bank where quite a ruckus was taking place. It wems that Eleanore Uastelum and Margaret Hernandez were heing attacked hy a small dog. They had nothing to fear, though, for soon the Dog Catcher, Uscar Palmer, had everything under control. Soon after that I had to leave for home. I arrived at the train station just in time, for the ticker girl. Darlene Thompson. was getting ready to leave, As I hoarded the train. I met Arlene Yorha getting oft' with a hox full of candy for all the children that were trailing after her, Vsfell. its getting late. so I guess I had hetter clow for now. .lust thought lid let you know what is going on in our old home town, Class, Sincerely.
