GIRLS' A THLETIC AQSOCIA TIONQ One of the many athletic groups in Vale Union High School is our Girls' Athletic Association. By ,. participating in tournaments such as ping pong, vol- leyball, and softball, and in other activities like roller skating, playnights, and group exchanges, members are awarded points. These points are totaled up at the end of the year, and the most deserving are given awards. Th initiates put on splendid entertainment no matter how embarrassing it might have been for them. Letter club also does a number of other things throughout the year. They make programs for basketball games they are in charge of selling Vale Viking cushions, and they have cake raffles. This year they planned o going skiing but due to the unfortunate skiing conditions. the group was unable to go. The club may hav had their disappointments, but all in all it was one good year! !
