GIRLS' A THLETIC AQSOCIA TIONQ One of the many athletic groups in Vale Union High School is our Girls' Athletic Association. By ,. participating in tournaments such as ping pong, vol- leyball, and softball, and in other activities like roller skating, playnights, and group exchanges, members are awarded points. These points are totaled up at the end of the year, and the most deserving are given awards. CENTER RIGHT: A lot of concentration is devoted to the varied activities planned for the G.A.A. welcoming party for incoming freshmen. Bottom Left: Competing against the underclassmen, in a strenuous tug of war, the upperclassmen pulled their way to victory, joining in the team effort is Betty Town, Patty Goodman, and Mary Ann Blackburn.
