l Like Dreamin I ll April 16, 1977, the Junior-Senior Prom was held. Friday and Saturday, the day of the prom, many juniors worked hard to prepare the dance for the seniors. The ceiling of the cafete- ria was decorated with parachutes, and hedges lined the dancing floor. Hang- ing plants covered the stage. Tammy Rumpel and Kathy Schroeder were the co-chairpersons in charge of the entire prom. TOP LEFT: Bill Murdock and Cindy Schaffer dance. TOP MIDDLE: Arleen Spurling, Cheryl Fifer, and Irene Whitaker make white paper car- nation flowers for the stage. RIGHT: 4213 40 S9 Johanna Moore hangs streamers. BOT TOM LEFT: Couples dance as the ban Jade plays. PAGE 41 . . . TOP Couples eat cookies and drink punch a tables off the dance floor. Each tabl had a candle made from oil and wate in a champagne glass. LEFT: One sid of the stage. MIDDLE RIGHT: Couple watch band while waiting to have pic tures taken by Mr. Harano. BOTTO RIGHT: Sophomore server Toni Atkin and member of the prom's band stan at refreshment table. Punch wa pumped through a fountain.

The graduate probably falls into one of three categories: those who believe they have reached the end of their educa- tions: those who are ready to re- invent the wheelg those who realize that they have collected a set of tools and are ready to begin their real learning .
