Bettefunen Forty-nine Vale High boys have had the honor of being Lettermen this year. The goals of Lettermen are to promote good citizen- I ship, teach the value of clean living and realize the worth of competition. Lettermen Initiation was an event enjoyed by all. The Box Social was promoted to help finance the athletic program. As a reward, the girls who supported the social, were hon - ored at a Return Party over which three, whose boxes were judged the winners, presided as acourt. The outstanding social affair was the formal Lettermen's Ball, January 22. Bettefcgbado, In Vale High School, we are proud of the Lettergirls. Girls who are members of this group have earned the hon- or by participating in intramural sports and by doing indi- vidual work i.n physical development activities. Some responsibilities of Lettergirls are to enforce rules of good conduct among the girls, and to promote better citizenship in our school. During the past year, Linder the capable leadership of Miss Redfield, the Lettergirls have sponsored the Christmas dance, Play Day, and the Lettergir1's banquet.
