it How long did the torture last? Lines, lines and more lines! Suddenly, the front of the line and guess what? The class is closed! Now what? Scream obscenities then find another class and hope it isn't closed. Finally, the torture is over and the check book is near zero, but now the bookstore. Homecoming I983 was a big event at VSC bringing with it a week full of activities including an Alcohol Aware- ness Fair preceding a Homecoming Barbeque with the Reunion Blues Band. Saturday a homecoming parade was held featuring entries by many campus organizations with Zeta Tau Alpha winning the float contest. To kick off the big game a Pep Rally-Bonfire was held. The crowning of Harriet Madison as Homecoming Queen took place at half-time. Following the homecoming game with Delta State a dance was held at the National Guard Armory with music by The Chapparells.
