A strange new event was introduced to VSC called the Kissing Close-up Games. The games were sponsored by Pepsi and Close-up toothpaste to raise money for Easter Seals. The SAE's were the ones who helped bring this new event to campus. Several students, sponsored by the sororities and fraternities. They had to continue kissing the whole time. participated in the games. The spectators were treated well during the games. They had soap, toothpaste, t-shirts, and frisbees thrown to them. While the contestants were doing the events they had to continue kissing, which they didn't mind at all. The individual couples which won received clocks, coolers, and soft drinks. The apartments at VSC are quite cozy and a good place for a responsible student to reside. One must cook and clean-up after himself, but the reward is a nicer place to live. The apartments at VSC are a little more expensive for a student than a dorm room and the waiting lists are usually never ending. Apartments are for those people who are more mature and do not make a lot of trouble. Cwners of an apartment have a bathroom, kitchen, living room and bedroom. Visitation is 24 hours as in a normal apartment. Apartments are for serious college students. So if you study hard and have learned responsibility, then an apartment may be just what the doctor ordered . DXSTLIDENT LIFE
