.-or gi, 1 fi IEA N O Academics, Not Subject to Change Many students came to Valdosta State College looking for something, never the same thing, but some- thing to help them become an educated person. Whether the something that they were looking for was friends, a place away from home, or just a whole lot of party- ing on the town, Valdosta was the place to come for these people. Unfortunately staying was a whole dif- ferent story Every student attending Valdosta State College had to maintain a grade point average over 2.00 and take some sort of class load. Though many students were to find the things they were looking for at VSC, many more were to find that along with these came a little responsibility to their classes and a whole lot more responsibility to themselves to make a four year degree, in four years of college.
