This year to celebrate this joyous occasion VSC returned to a baseball game rather than basketball, VSC Blazers vs Universi- ty of Georgia Bulldogs K6-75. Along with the game, Miss Margret Lewis, sponsored by BSU, was crowned Homecoming Queen. She received the honor of throwing the opening ball to begin the baseball action. Blazer alumni got into the spirit with a fun-filled baseball game against the varsity Blazers. Alumni also enjoyed a Homecoming banquet given Saturday night. While Homecoming honored the VSC alumni, students, faculty and friends enjoyed it as well. Highlights of our Diamond Jubilee included the annual coffee hosted by Dr. 81 Mrs. Baily along with the College Union Board's annual carnival. Various Greek organizations placed displays throughout the campus. The Kappa Alpha order took first place in the competition with Kappa Delta sorority second and Zeta Tau Alpha third. TKE CALENDAR GIRL T5 if--2 - 5 14 Al On November 10, 1980 the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity held their annual TKE Calendar Girl contest. This year twenty- one girls representing the var- ious sororities and fraternities on campus participated. Jamie Tootle was crowned 1981 TKE calen- dar girl. The other finalists are as follows Joann Parmalee, first runner up, Joan Chapman, second runner up, Lisa Holland, third runner upg Marlesa Ball, fourth runner upg Jamie Beagle, Teresa Ann Davis, Lana Flake, Harriet Madison, Robin Mae Suale, Mary Tit- shaw, and Rhonda Tucker.
