1U E END OF THE YEAR GRADUATION RELAXINO Graduation is an important part of all of our lives. It not only ends our period of growing up but it starts a whole new experience for most of us. It is a sad time and a happy time. One will not easily forget our college days and all the memories that came with it. We have put four hard years of our lives to get a degree that will mean our future. What will become of us now? When will we see everyone again? It has been fun and exciting but now we are grown up. The graduating class of 1976- the great year of our Bi- centennial. 9

A gala Bicentennial fireworks display opened the 1976 edition of VSC's annual Week of Semi- nars. Seminars Week also in- cluded lectures on Egyptian heiroglyphics, bagpipes, Walt Disney, Rolls Royces, and nu- merous other subjects. A fea- tured attraction was the appear- ance of Mark Lane, an authority on the assassination of john F. Kennedy, who spoke before a capacity audience in Whitehead Auditorium. Beach trip is the social high- point of the year at VSC. Hundreds of VSC students will leave as early as Wednesday morning in order to get plenty of the Panama City Beach sunshine. Students plan for this event as early as fall quarter. It would not be surprising to hear some students talking about next year's Beach Trip while driving back from this year's Beach Trip. 23
