Sponsored by Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, the Miss Beautiful Con- test has always been a popular event in the past. ln this event members of the VSC fraternities get drunk, dress up in women's clothes, and then have a hilarious time on stage performing a talent routine before an audience that is roaring with laughter. This year's contest was held on April 22 and was won by Randy Bennett of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraterntiy. Greek Week is one of two major events in the social year of VSC, a Greek Community. ihis week is set aside by the Greeks as a time for friendly competition and fellowship. Events of the week include a chariot race down Patterson Street, watermelon eating contests, the Tug-o-War, the Greek Olympics, and the Greek Dance. Highlight of the week is the naming of the Greek God and Goddess, won this year by Greg Moseley and Barbara Tonning. sf... mmnmaamm 15

APRIL IVIEISBURC 81 WALTERS MISS BEAUTIFUL CREEK WEEK Steve Meisburg and john Walters are extremely popular on the VSC campus. They have performed here several times in the past and have always drawn large and enthusiastic audiences. On April 6, they came back to VSC for a performance in Whitehead Auditorium. Their music, described as country pop with folk, was enthusiastically applauded by the many VSC students in the audience.

MAY 'PN YOU'RE A COOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN BEACH TRIP SEMINARS WEEK The last ofthe three major productions put on by the Speech and Drama Department was You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. This play proved to be very popular with VSC students and members of the community as it was performed before large and en- thusiastic audiences each night.
