QVEIVIBER THE STAR SPANCLED GIRL TKE CALENDAR CIRL LADY BLAZERS VOLLEYBALL The Fall Production of the VSC Department of Speech and Drama was Neil Simon's play The Star Spangled Girl. The play is a comedy about two roomates who vie for the affections of the same girl, who, of course, cannot stand either one of them. The play was performed before large and enthusi- astic audiences on the nights of November 13-15.

Dr. Donald Ratajczak, Director of Economic Forecasting at Georgia State University was the featured speaker at the Fall Convocation on Wednesday, October 1. Dr. Ra- tajczak spoke on the state of the economy. Also present at the event were the President's Freshmen Scholars, who were introduced by VSC Vice President Dr. W. Ray Clere. Kim Purser won the first of two major VSC beauty titles by winning the TKE Calendar Girl Contest on November 4. Miss Purser, a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, was named as Miss january on the TKE calendar for 1976. SGHSOYI. V .ul Lady Blazers Volleyball ac tion moved into high gear during the month of No bember. Coach Nancy Scott s team usually played with three freshmen starters These girls were backed by seniors Patty Coldston Connie Powell and Susan Wheeler. The Lady Blazers performed at their peak before the friendly home crowds within the friendly confines of the VSC gym and ,L they put on several exciting matches for their hometown fans during the course of the
