Dr. Donald Ratajczak, Director of Economic Forecasting at Georgia State University was the featured speaker at the Fall Convocation on Wednesday, October 1. Dr. Ra- tajczak spoke on the state of the economy. Also present at the event were the President's Freshmen Scholars, who were introduced by VSC Vice President Dr. W. Ray Clere. Ak-Junta-n -...,.-sq 'rv -- f-- QCTQBER JIMMY WALKER CROSS COUNTRY MEET FALL CGNVOCATION jimmy Walker is one of the funniest commedians around today. He is also a well-known actor, starring as jj in the popular television series Good Times and in the motion picture Let's Do It Again. On October 22, VSC students got an opportunity to see this fast-rising star in person as he performed his comic routine to a packed crowd at the VSG Gym. All of those in attendance came away with the same feeling- he's dyn-o-mite? The annual VSC Blazer Cross Country Invitational was held on October 18, 1975. This event was won by the host Blazers. QVEIVIBER THE STAR SPANCLED GIRL TKE CALENDAR CIRL LADY BLAZERS VOLLEYBALL The Fall Production of the VSC Department of Speech and Drama was Neil Simon's play The Star Spangled Girl. The play is a comedy about two roomates who vie for the affections of the same girl, who, of course, cannot stand either one of them. The play was performed before large and enthusi- astic audiences on the nights of November 13-15.
