It seems only yester- day I was at home waiting to leavefor school. College life is so different after what 1've been used to at home. Maybe the town itseU' makes a lot ofdzjerence. Atfirst Valdos- ta seenzed so large, but now it doesn 't seem any bigger than usual. Isuppose it 's what you grow accustomed to. A tfrst there seemed to be no limit to the number ofeating places here in Valdosta. But now everyone eats at either Shoney's or Grego 's with Burger Chef when no one has any money. You can al- ways tell a students fnancial status by whether he eats at Shoney's or across the street.
