Administration HEALTH AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION The Health Service, located in the southwest wing of Converse Hall, is under the personal Care of the C0llCge physician, who is in residence. All students are given thorough physical examinations upon entrance, and their complete health records are immediately available. 1 The gymnasium is used for dancing and for classes in Physical Education. Besides the regular classes in Physical Education, instruction is offered in golf, horseback riding, tennis, and archery. Instructors in this division: MARIAN FARBAR, R. Attention is given to the social basis of organized society as it has been inherited from the past in order to provide a suitable background for the understanding of the fundamental principles that operate in and con- trol our systems of social expression, regulation, and education. It is the desire of the department to acquaint the student with the best practices in the selection and care of clothing and foods, as well as to instruct the student in nutrition, home decoration and management, child care and training, and a profitable use of leisure time.
