Cgaculty Mrs. Powell finds her field in teaching Ger- man and making a lovely home-'iiceboxn cookies included-for her family and student callers. Outdoor equipment and stage settings are Mr. Dusenberry's forte. His latest hobby is outdoor fireplaces. All the students know Miss Larsen, who keeps the Student's Bank and shows them how to write checks. Next door is Miss Parrish, who is the keeper of the ofiicial and social calendar for the pres- ident. Miss Rentz, who begins and ends registration, has an extra task when the first of the month rolls around and treasurer's books must be audited. Roses, the Alumnae Association, and the library-these are what every G. S. W. C. girl thinks of simultaneously with Miss Patterson. Semi-official hostess for nearly every tea that is given on the campus, Miss Chandler is char- acterized by her terse wit and her enthusiasm for the Lambdas. Mrs. Hagan wields the adhesive tape and mercurochrome for wounded athletes and makes delicious toast and cocoa for any who may be inmates of the infirmary. Hallowe'en always brings forth an extra cele- bration, planned by Mrs. Beck. She is the power behind the screens when a tea, lunch- eon, or festival dinner must be planned and car- ried out. i gi xg? 8 rl Ccfaculty Miss Ryon is familiarly known among faculty and upper-classmen as Helen , Glee Club and dancing classes find her indispensable. Miss Worcester's name conjures up visions of a sewing lab alive with the activity of making costumes. Many a May Day or Christmas Festival would never have known its period had it not been for her help. Mr. Wood is noted for his freshmen intelli- gence tests and the fascinating talks he makes in Student Government meetings. Miss CampbeIl's efiiciency is felt by the entire student body, but most keenly by the sophomores from the first day of teaching in the training school to making those pompous waves and curls for the dancers of the minuet at Christmas Festival. Miss johnson and Miss Gill, two enthusiastic training teachers, are inveterate golfers and are often to be seen in company with Miss Bush, playing around the golf course. Miss Board and Miss Bracey have proved their value to the training school by the way in which they control and develop the first, second, and third graders. Dr. Hawks' wit is an addition to any social group. She is keenly interested, too, in making mathematics a thrilling adventure through the Euclidian Club.
