Typing is one conunereial course offered to the students. Latin, under Mrs. McClure, proves not to he a dead language. A vital part of the administration is the Guidance Department with Miss Marguerite Ford as counselor. Through this department Mental Maturity tests are given to ninth and eleventh graders. Numerous other tests are given to learn the achievements of students in various courses, the interests and aptitudes of the students. Another important service rendered hy the Guidance Department is counseling. Oral reports are used frequently hy English classes.
