Sixteen units are required for the class of 1960 to graduate, while the juniors, sopho- mores, and freshmen will need eighteen units to complete their high school career. Designed to equip the college hound student with a strong foundation in all courses is the College Preparatory Course. The requirements oftthis course enable the student to meet the en- trance requirements of the majority of colleges. The primary purpose of the General Course is to give the non-college student a well-rounded education in a variety of subjects. ' The student who is planning to begin Work after completing his high school education may choose to follow any one of four programs of study. These courses are the Commercial Course, the Distributive Education Course, the Trade and Industrial Education Course, and the Diversified Cooperative Training Course. Each of these courses prepares the student for varied fields of employment either by actual Work ex- perience or hy class instruction.
