It is not an easy job, but it is a re- warding one; for the yearbook achieves a permanence equal- ed by few other high school activities. The knowledge that someday alumni will thumb the pages and see old friends again, cheer the forgotten vic- tories and mourn the forgotten tragedies once more, imparts an only half realized sense of thankfulness at being allowed to contribute to a compendium of reminiscences. d)n the d andsjuir, tradit i iiond are hound . Problems to put before the student body-’ These things are handled by the Student Council. A true cross-section of the school including Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors; the Student Council serves as a liason between faculty and students by presenting the views and feelings of both—explaining the actions of the administration and in turn serving as a voice of protest against actions which the students consider unfair. Besides this vital function, the Student Council also finds time to perform many worthwhile services to the school. Left to Right: 1 Tillmon, C. Eggcrsdorf, T. Blanton, C. Finley, J. Dvorak, 6. Just os member- ship in the Beta Club signifies scholastic success, so does membership in the V Club sig- nify another kind of success, whether it be in football, bas- ketball, golf, tennis, or other sports. As long as there are youths to be developed into men, the V Club and what it represents will remain an in- tegral part of our school. honors Sportsmen First Row J.
