From an inexperienced squad, a boys' bas- ketball team worthy of admiration was pro- duced The girls' sextet had the best season in V.H.S. history, losing only one of their reg- ularly scheduled games and winning the Ha- hira Invitational Tournament. Spring sports, baseball, tennis, and track, provided lively interest for the student body during the closing months of school.
