foreword The period in which we live and our gradu- ationfrom college offers a privilege for ser- vice to any person who is wellprepared. May we think of the years spent at Valdese High as the initial period in this preparation for the opportunities that lie before us. Through our continued sacrifices and with a determined effort to strive toward our se- lected vocations, we may help our community to find a solution to many of its perplexing problems. Now the time has comefor us to part. As we leave these portals of Valdese High, we leave behind the cherished memories that have endeared us to our Alma Mater. As we move on to blaze new trails, may we stop and cherish those memories once again through the activities and organizations that helped us to establish them. . ign school valdese | edi Because of their loyal devotion to enthusiasm for their subjects, their alert all pnases of school life, we the annual personator toMr. and Mrs. Leo Brevard. 1 4 Cation in d intense is genuine an 2 staff, dedicate Volume XXII of the Im- nN = ©) oO on fae] u = [e) oO 4 oo oO ao fs Oo (2, no) oO DM fe op ot am) o nN io) Ke) Gs interest that Mr. John L.
