VALKYRIAN 1985 According to Norse mythology, the “Valkyrie” were the handmaidens of Okin, king of the gods. Legend holds that the Valkyrie hovered over battlefields and decided the fates of the warriors. In addition to choosing which Vikings would be victorious, the Valkyrie conducted the souls of slain heroes to Valhalla, the great hall of immortality. This edition of the Vailshurg High School Valkyrian contains a legend of the warriors who are striving toward greatness en route to insuring a positive impact on our world. We trust that the Valkyrie will grant us the opportunity to achieve success. We hope that the generations who read this hook will be able to enjoy and grasp our spirit.
