The class of June ‘77 has glided through its junior and senior activities with calmness and assurance. The obvious poise and maturity of class members, class officers and the splendid guidance provided by Mrs. Adams, Mr. Frannicola and Mrs. Melchionno have been positive factors insuring smooth sailing. As you move on beyond the sheltering embrace of Vails- burg High School the very best wishes from the school staff are extended to you. John L. Petitti
Most books have a dedication page. The author uses it to dedicate his work to a person in his family, a close friend, or an associate who has in- spired him in some way. However, this book is not dedicated to a person, it is dedicated to Time. Time is ever fleeting; it does not have the permanence of a person. But one does and can reflect upon a certain time period and remember its importance and be inspired by a moment of existence, just as one always remembers a close friend or special someone. This book is nothing more than a collection of past experiences brought together to form a ‘‘yearbook. Although this book has been completed in just a few months. it represents more than one year; it represents four years of experience, growth, and change. As the class of '11. we have seen the decay of our school and the lack of student body enthusiasm in extra-curricular activities, but there is hope with Time. With this tool, hopefully future classes will be able to rebuild the crumbling educational structure, work to better the school, and install a sense of pride and accomplishment in their work. By using the present constructively, we can correct today’s problems in 5 order to insure a better future. All it takes is effort, motivation, and TIME.
