GRADUATION “86 On June 6th, at 7:30 p.m., the class of 1986 reached our last stepping stone in our long journey through school. Many years of long hard work had finally payed off. Everyone in the class had received our diplomas. New challenges face our class such as marriage, college, armed services, and jobs. Now is the time when society and reality will weed out the weak and the strong will survive. Looking back on our class many strong and willing students will be proud to tell of their accomplishments in the future. Time can only tell who will be a preditor, and seek their dreams to the fullest, or who will be prey and only want their dreams to come true but are not willing to go forth and put out the effort. The future holds for us what we want and work for so we should never give up. We should always keep that one special dream tucked away with in us because that will make the work easier. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE. V Karen Palmer: Salutatorian Jeff Woods receiving the Scott Kendrick and Paul Connour awards. Darren Churchill receiving a Spoon River Jr. College Ag award. Lori Bent receiving a Spoon River Jr. College award.
