The 1984 Volleyball season this year has been both memorable and successful for both teams. A special thanks goes to Miss Evans for putting up with us all these years and for taking on the job no one else wanted, with a smile. We will always remember those attitude talks that everyone got one time or another and that famous saying, That's History . We know it hasn't been easy ... thanks. Our enthusiasm and participation as a team made for many enjoyable practices and games. We had our ups and downs, good games and bad, but we always seemed to work together at just the right times. The season over-all has been quite successful with both squads placing second in the WAC Conference and the Varsity receiving third in the County Tournament. But the one victory that will stand out in our minds is the defeat of Industry during their senior night. Good Luck next year.

After a 0-3 start, the season finally bounced and swished to a very rewarding finish. After a surprising 2nd place in the Havana Holiday Tournament, the Hornets rebounded with another second place trophy at the Fulton County Tournament. The Hornet's charged to a grand Finale, capturing the WAC conference with a 6-0 record. The team felt the season was stimulating as well rewarding, with a final record of 19-8. By Tim Ba ir Allen
