TO BE A SOPHOMORE This is our second year in the Senior High. Everything’s different than our Freshman year. The halls don’t seem so crowded, more people have become friendlier and teachers more humane, and we are now more familiar with our surrounding. We no longer seem to be at the bottom and insignificant because we are now SOPHOMORES To raise money for our class treasury we sold magazines. The class on a whole managed to raise $3801.22. There were times when everyone was about ready to give it all up. People lost checks and order blanks were filled out wrong. Then Driver’s Ed came along. Driver’s permits were issued and everyone started driving. “WATCH OUT!” It wasn’t long before some received their Driver’s licenses. Watch the trash cans and mausoleums!! Everybody was excited about ordering their class ring. We almost drove Mrs. Daily crazy with all of our questions. Finally the day came to order. Then all of the questions of when they would arrive started. Mrs. Daily managed to come through it all reasonably sane, (although we tried our worst), and on March 18 we receive our class rings. by Crystal Palmer
