Though our record might not look like it was very successful, we all learned and gained something from it. whether it was at a game, practice, on the floor or on the bench. Aside from learning a lot of volleyball skills. I think we all became more aware of a team concept and both will be helpful in the years to come. I'm sure the 1979-80 season is one we’ll always remember. All of the players would like to thank Miss. Evans for putting in all of her long hours to help us. 1979 - 1980 Super Senior Class Officers Brian Porter Treasurer Stephanie Bean Secretary Cathy Beldon Vice President Cathy Beldon Vice President Laurie Hart President It was the fall of 1976 as we entered the doors of V.l.T. for our freshman year. The four years we spent at V.l.T. will always be remembered for the good times we shared. Our freshman year was full of fear-, wondering just what the seniors were planning for us next. It was a fun time, though, tooi mostly parties, dances, and fights now and then. As sophomores, we were a little more sophisticated: we got our class rings, and our licenses. The roads had a lot of black fire marks for a few months. Our junior year was far more exciting. We had our bonfire (our class of 80 holds the record for the most outhouses collected), we had our prom and Carol had a smash-up party. Our basketball team was nul in Conference. But as Seniors we accomplished the most. From Scholastic Showdown (on TV) to matchmaking for Mrs. Knowles, to State Playoffs in football, to the SWAT team of V.l.T., besides all the numerous other plays, musicals, sports, specials, and fun things we don’t have room to mention. But now as we leave V.l.T.. this spring of 1980. to face our own lives, we look back and laugh and remember. Thanks V.l.T. for all the memories.! Brian
