Senior Class Officers President: Vice-President: Secretary: Treasurer: Reporter: John Pittman Steve Robertson Myra McMillen Jerry Hollenback Sandy Morrison DID IT ALL REALLY HAPPEN THAT FAST? As freshmen we entered these dreamed of classrooms and found out that we dreamed bad dreams. Instead of stepping up from 8th grade, a freshman is actually a step down. So we began our long, hard trek to freedom; fighting through mobs of mean Seniors and rough classes. Most of us made it that first year, though, and we even had time to sell a little candy. The next year began quite a bit differently, and for once in a long time, (so it seemed), we could look down upon somebody. We became active in many outside activities during our Sophomore year and even broke records in our magazine sales. Our Junior year started out well and finished that way. Class rings were received, tried on, traded, and spun, causing considerable dilemma. However, we learned many new things through our experiences and gained knowledge from our failures as well as our successes. As Juniors we handled basketball concessions, put on a class play and gave a Prom to the outgoing Seniors. Seniors at last, well, it had finally come, from the gutters of high school to the throne at the top. We, as Seniors, became victims of the old familiar disease, Senioritis, and though we weren't through high school, we were close enough to taste the end. Still we carried some responsibility; we took care of football concessions, again put on a class play, went to a very nice prom and planned and executed a fine outing to Chicago. Looking back, maybe we could say, Did it really all happen that fast? 6
