A long, last look launched upon these empty halls, brings forth in all of us a feeling of remorse. Yet, above it all a feeling of pride, forwarded by our small yet subtly substantia! accomplishments proves, that we like many, value our personal ideals and motives. Many times in the previous few short years, we have reminisced upon onr gains and failures, forwarded our dreams and goals and wondered about the future. By now we no longer wonder, but stare in awe; ibr we ha ve become a part of the future, our dreams have become a 8fm reality. Life is ahead of us, but a great part has already left us; for we, in these last few years, have committed to our memories many moments of sorrow, of joy, of success and failure, of times of being toother for a common goal; and above all, we have been with friends, not only our classmates and other students, but faculty, persons who were and are interested in us as human beings and not only as a product of their efforts. However, we cannot rest upon our accomplishments, for thdre is much yet in our lives to attempt. We have barely scratched the surface of life's enormous store of knowledge and opportunity. And we cannot waste this great gift, available for our taking, if we just will take it. For us there is only the future, to make of what we wish and for how much we are willing to give. As we leave, we cannot dwejr in the past, bift rather.use the knowledge we gained: to sav in our own small way FAREWELL. , ■
