A special edition was put out at Christmas time using Christmas drawings throughout the paper. Another special edition was put out at Graduation time honoring the Seniors. The 56-57 officers were: President, Stan Wilson; Vice-President, Don Howard; Secretary, Dorvan McCormick; Treasurer, Bill Shaw; Reporter, Gary Tyler; and Sentinel, John Weese. A soil judging contest was held at Morton, Illinois. John Weese, Don Icenogle, Phil Richmond, Charles Dailey, and Leroy Saurbaugh represented our chapter. The sectional F.F.A. Leadership Training was held September 7 thru the 9th at Epworth Springs, northwest of Lewistown, Illinois. On November 17,1956 the Sectional Grain Show and Seed Judging Contest was held in Havana, Illinois. Stan Wilson, Bill Shaw, and Dorvan McCormick represented our chapter. A pest contest was held during Christmas Vacation with Gene Welker and Don Howard as captains. Don's team won. Librarians FIRST ROW: Donna Harris, Marge McCamant, Marilyn Harris, Miss Beverly Brown, Supervisor. SECOND ROW: Iola Graham, Loretta Hinrichs, Margo Remington. THIRD ROW: Dixie Ritenhouse, Janet McFadden, Lucille Richardson, Julia Ellison, Eloise Williams.
