Donnie Bair Jim McDaniel Don Erb Larry Waters Joan Walton Lois Noble Kermit Easley Lynne Dunn Gary Fawcett Sherrill Anderson Underclass Histories CLASS OF ’58 We started the Junior year in the fall of 56 by electing the following officers: Carol Bohm, President; Jerry Curless, Vice-President; Faye Byers, Secretary; and Doug Baily, Treasurer. Student Council Representatives are Luann Burgard and Larry Stambaugh. Class Sponsors are Miss Cox, Mrs. Schafer, and Mr. Hunter. The Homecoming float, “Moments to Remember, won first place, attendants were Faye Byers and Jerry Curless. The Junior Class Play, The Hobgoblin House, was presented April 4th and 5th. Miss Brown was our director. The Prom was held on May 3; it depicted the theme, Festival of Lanterns. The banquet was held at the Vermont Grade School. Music was furnished by The Blue Flames. The Junior Class money making activities consisted of: concessions at Ipava Homecoming, Basketball concessions. Class Play, and Card Sale. Our class was well represented in Band, Chorus, and Sports. Luann Burgard was our cheerleader. CLASS OF '59 The Sophomore Class of 1956-57 elected the following officers: Jim Herrlford, President; Pat Ting-ley, Vice-President; Gerald Palm, Secretary; and Bea Schisler, Treasurer. Student Council Representatives were Cathy Marshall and John Weese. Class Sponsors are Mr. Connour and Mrs. Farris. Jim Herriford and Janet Nehmelman were elected by the Sophomore Class for the Homecoming Attendants. The theme of our float was, With a Little Bit of Luck. Our money making projects for this year were a Car Wash, Sock Hop, and selling Christmas Cards. Marvin Chockley, Don Icenogle, and Leroy McDaniels joined our class during the year. Our class was well represented in Band, Chorus, and Sports. The cheerleaders elected were Janet Nehmelman and Cathy Marshall. CLASS OF '60 The Freshman Class in 1956-57 elected the following as officers: Dale Malott, President; Janet Mc-Fadden, Secretary and Treasurer; and Jim Bohannon, Vice-President; Student Council Representatives are Jack Bally and Johanna Howell. Our Class Sponsors are Mrs. Hughes and Mrs. Clendenny. Mike Hulvey and Alcinda Richmond were elected by the class for Homecoming Attendants. The theme of our float was This Ole House. Sponsoring a Sock Hop and selling papers and pencils have been our money making projects for this year. Our class started out with 52 members in the fall of '56. Later in the year Ellis Ayers and Jim McDaniel joined our class. Our class was well represented in Band, Sports, and Chorus. The cheerleaders elected were: Alcinda Richmond and Karen Kopp.
