Class Prophecy And now we come to a small town of Smithfield and look in on the Keime family. Nellie (Bair) Keime is telling her children a bedtime story. She has four really cute children now but really has her hands full. On up the street we stop at a little white house and find the Behymer family very busy. Betty is trying to get supper and at the same time trying to calm the twins and Lewie is trying to settle the boys. Betty (Royer) Behymer and her family are very happy. Now we are on our way to visit Shirley Malott, now Shirley Skein and her husband Bill, who are very happy together. They now have two little boys and live on a small farm of their own. Oh, watch out! Here comes Sally Snowman cruising around Peoria in a new convertible. She is run ning a used car lot and specializes in Texaco. She is now very wealthy and is always seen wearing furs. Laura (Merrill) Paul and her husband Lawrence are now living on a ranch type farm in the country. Laura is very busy dressing her little girl for a party while Lawrence is trying to round up the boys. As we go on we find Marion Cornelius sitting on the front porch with his eleven children. His wife is a little tired but very charming. We soon find that her name isn’t Judy as everyone expected. In high school, Judy's were his only Heartthrobs. Larry Easley is driving a 1976 sports car and is spending most of his time looking for chorus girls as he is now a motion picture man. Well, here is Marling Beck, a Four-Star General in the U. S. Army. He fought very bravely in our last World War and single-handedly defeated the Russians. Dick Herriford is seen with his new girl-friend. He has been married and divorced from five women, but he insists he is leading a very quiet life as a stock car driver. Mannie Thome is Marilyn Monroe's manager and seems to enjoy his work very much. Dorvan McCormick, now head of the Farm Bureau, is married and he and his family are living on a farm near Springfield so he can be close to his work. Now we're in Indianapolis at the Speedway and are being introduced to two of the winners of the year who are known throughout the United States. They are none other than our old classmates Bill Pilger and Phil VanFossen. Here comes three of our classmates now, Stan Wilson, Bill Schisler and Larry Smith. Stan is one of the most honored men of agriculture these days. He invented a new dish for the Department of Agriculture and found a way to irrigate the dark side of the moon. Bill Schisler, so I hear, drove his newest design tonight (He’s a designer for American Motors; ranks among the top ten now) which is a very beautiful Skylark with the streamlined jet stream. Larry Smith, of Smith Smith, who have one of the largest fleet of Space tankers in the United System, is the most sought after bachelor in the States. As you know Larry, or Buddy as he is sometimes called, took over his father's business after his untimely death during the Russian Conference in 1959. Janet (Bohm) Lafary is the next classmate we run into. As we near a little farm house we find Janet and her husband who are very happy, especially since Jr. and Susie arrived. We go on down the road and there we find Martha Barker happily married to her football husband. Don is in the yard refereeing his own football team and Martha watches on admiringly. Emily Bulmer is now the head nurse at the Graham Hospital. She says she is very happy with her work. We always knew Emily would go to the top. Ernie Bulmer (now Mrs. Robinson) is as cheerful as ever in her pretty farm cottage near Astoria. Howard Jr. is helping Daddy with the chores. We find Judy (Craft) Adcock very happy with her husband Bob and their lovely children. They are the owners of a nice Horse and Chicken Farm. We find Janette Easley a strict old school teacher, but a very nice person after school hours. She has not, as yet, found herself a suitable mate. Mrs. Donna (Ashwood) McAdams is now busy attending her rather large family of fifteen. Kenny and she are very happy together. We find Nelda (Hunter) Schisler in France with her husband and their three children. Sharon (Keefauver) Chockley has been married to Joe for several happy years. They are the proud parents of triplets. David Harris, who was always rather quiet, is now in a very profitable business. Dave is manufacturing flying saucers. Richard Walton is now an auctioneer. He took over when Mr. Bumgarder retired a few years ago. Richard Atwater, now a test pilot for Hazel Bishop, has as his assistant, Loretta, now Mrs. Atwater. Larry Jocobus, a well-known playboy, is seen with two very attractive models on each arm. Larry has been married seven times and has the honor of being the most sought after male of the times. Shirlee, the Hairstylist, who has a beautiful beauty parlor in New York, is our old classmate Shirley Brown. Her specialty is the new Purple Poodle Wave. Whom should we run into next but Bev. (Burton) Vaughn and her husband. After a wedding trip to Greenland, they returned to Kansas where Don is employed as a card shark. Bev Is doing quite well in the newspaper world. Wilma Dildine is now a leader in the clothes market. Her new styles include the longer, higher, and wider look, size 28 being the ideal size for the year. Donna Harris is running a very fashionable Lonely Hearts Club for all rich women. This plan has proven very successful for her. We now find Harold Palm coaching at the University of Illinois. His team's record for the year is 24 wins and NO LOSSES. Jerry Smith, now a college professor, will retire in June. He just won two million dollars on various quiz shows. Jerry's fortune has made him even more popular with the opposite sex, but he still prefers to play the field. Bob Weese, a salesman for the Go-Get-Um Flea Powder Company, is making money fast. He is thinking of investing in the Mighty Mite Company in the near future. Gene Welker has just built the fastest car which he calls the Zoom-m-m-m Jet. Look out! There he goes.
