ITorian Sponsor ANNUAL STAFF Thank You” As the sponsor of the 1956 Vitorian 1 would like to pay tribute and give my thanks to several students who shouldered the main load of writing, assembling, pasting and typing of this yearbook. All members of the senior class had a part in the selling of advertising and subscriptions and helping with the layouts but these people listed below were most faithful in attending and working at the staff meetings. Present at nearly every meeting were Jeannette Bulmer, Joan Herriford, Janice Brock, Rosalie Ellison, Peggy Wherley, and Melvina Burcky. It would be impossible to list all the projects for which these six girls were responsible because they worked on nearly every section in the annual. Assisting this group were Gordon Reedy, Mari-lee Atwater, Phyllis Howell, Ronald Mercer, Marvin White, Lynn Carrison, Shirley Hunter and Katherine Porter. Others who helped were Ed Butcher, Mary Ruth Malott, Barbara Danner, Melba Malott, Nelda Malott, Betty Wright, and Lyle Royer. Credit for outstanding work on some of the departments should be given to the following seniors: Prophecy and Will — Rosalie Ellison and Gordon Reedy. Senior Pages — Peg Wherley, Gordon Reedy, Jeannette Bulmer and Phyllis Howell. Class Plays — Mel Burcky. Grade School Pages — Jeannette Bulmer, Mel Burcky, Joann Herriford, Marilee Atwater, Peg Wherley, Gordon Reedy, Janice Brock, Lynn Carrison, Katherine Porter, and Ronald Mercer. Class History — Ronald Mercer and Gordon Reedy. Sports — Lynn Carrison and Marvin white. Snapshot Pages — Shirley Hunter and Mel Burcky. Advertising Pages - Mel Burcky, Peg Wherley, Ronald Mercer, Joann Herriford, Jeannette Bulmer, Katherine Porter and Rosalie Ellison. Division Pages — Rosalie Ellison and Mel Burcky. Photography — Lyle Royer and Peg Wherley. Subscriptions — Janice Brock and Jeannette Bulmer. This book is the result of over a thousand man-hours” of work by the above people and the financial aid of our fine advertisers and subscribers and the printing and lithographing skill of the Semco Color Press Corporation of Oklahoma City. To all these people and to any I may have overlooked, I again say, Thank-you.”
