Roy Young, Jimmy, Jack, and Bert all scored one touchdown apiece and August scored three. We will never forget how the Coyotes powered downfield in that first quarter and finally scored. Then a hard playing St. Gerard back, Frank Seivers, ran 94 yards for a touchdown. The Coyote eleven took care of that with a 45-T9 victory. 1 H i gi I Q1 i ,gf 'L ' is am it see.,-,mpg if 5, ' K U . Gene Maddox Norman Stutte Bob Blgckgfgne NOVEMBER 20 Maybe it was because of homecoming in Del Rio, but I believe the boys would tell you the Wildcats iust had a good team. We tried with all we had but that strong line wouldn't yield and that backfield wouldn't stop till 20 points had been tallied and none for us. Anyhow it was the eighth loss in 41 games for the Coyotes in four years and the fourth loss in 20 games at Uvalde 'for Coach Daniels. The mein who saw us through the nine victories and one loss were Leo Daniels, head coachg Bob Mathis, line coachp and Walter Leverman, backfield coach and scout.
