Joaquin Miller Relative to What? ,uv-ef - 1' i in When a brilliant man dies, something in all of us dies with him. When he is a young man like George Fisher. the loss is even more keenly felt. Mr. Fisher was a brilliant young artist, a dedicated educator and eritie of sorts-with a superb record of achievement and a behind-the-scenes worker. He will be greatly missed. but then everything is relative. Time is relative. Anytime you evaluate anything, you must make it relative to something. It may be a standard, a value or death. To have known George Fisher, you would realize that in his three years here at Utica. he Contributed more than many in seventy-five years. And we say Mr. Fisher was with us for so short a while, Relative to what?
