LETTER FROM THE EDITOR Dear Uticanites: In mid-October the UTICANITE began to take shape: class pictures were takeng editors selected: a theme chosen: and lay- outs planned With these vital elements completed, we, the staff, set out to make this year's UTICANITE an indelible monu- ment of memories for the Utica Family. It gives me an immeasurable degree of satisfaction to know that the l968 UTICANITE is at last in your hands. I hope that this pictorial annual portrays to an ultimate degree of perfec- tion, the story of the past school year's activities here at Utica lunior College. But even more, I sincerely hope that this book will help you to recall your unforgettable college days, the friends, activities, study, and most of all, your reward for concentrated efforts in preparing for your life's endeavors. Publishing a yearbook on time is a gigantic job, a iob which can only be done with the aid of a capable staff. We are most appreciative of the cooperation, assistance, and interest which we received from our advisor, the staff assistants, and the stu- dent body as a whole. We hope that you will share our affec- tionate reminiscences Through These Doors captured in the UTICANITE. Affectionately yours, Mg! All if Robert Washington, Ir. Editor-in-Chief
