MISSISSIPPI 39175 TELEPHONE B85-2611 Dear Students and Friends, The l966-67 edition of the Uticanite is a real credit to the diligence and dedication of the annual staff and faculty advisors. I take this opportunity to congratulate them for producing this most outstanding yearbook. Utica Junior College has experienced tremendous growth: a twenty percent increase in enrollment with an equal increase in the high school enrollrnent. This has necessitated an expanded building program: a student union, that will house student activities, has just been completedg a college administration-classroom building is now under constructiong and plans are being made for the construction of a library and a Sl million vocational-technical unit, which will accommodate some twenty additional vocational-technical programs. The high school department has also realized accomplish- ments. Among them, it has produced two finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program. These accomplishments and expansions are a challenge to the students and faculty to do their best in making every day worthwhile. We, with the splendid enthusiasm and cooperation of the students, faculty, and friends, shall continue to succeed here at Utica Junior College.
