...M A-1- The Terminal Program has attracted great interest since it was started in 1960. This program will enable young men and women who are interested in trans- ferring to senior college to take a Variety of terminal trades, the completion of which will enable them to go directly into gainful employment. We consider this a very important extension in our school offerings. With these expanding opportunities, plus a group of dedicated and well-trained faculty members, Utica Iunior College is rapidly moving to a position where it can be a most A Message From The President My dear Friends: l should like to congratulate the Annual Staff and its advisors for the 1962-63 UTICANITE, the school year- book. This is a pictorial review of the opportunities that are provided for the continuous growth and development of the young men and women who are enrolled here. lt expresses the rapid growth of the lunior College and the new opportunities that this rapid growth has brought to both the faculty and students. Utica Iunior College is a subject-matter-centered col- lege. The major emphasis is on classroom teaching. Stu- dents who come from this academic program are equipped to transfer after the two-year program to the senior colleges of the state without difficulty. positive influence in the lives of both the students and the community. We hope that everyone who will read this annual will get an insight into the college that has meant so much, to so many, so long, in the Utica lunior College district.
