THE PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE Utica Institute Junior College has served Hinds County and Mississippi for more than a half century. The influence of the coll-ege has been felt in every home and in the lives of practically every child in Hinds County. The institution is a combination of an agricultural high school and junior college which is jointly supported by Hinds County and the State of Mississippi. It has an enrollment of 600 high school students and 110 junior college students. The Junior College Department has increased from 67 last year to 110 this year. A further increase in junior college enrollment is anticipated for next school year. Utica Junior College has modern buildings with modern equipment. There is a junior college trades building plan for next school year, which will offer some ten terminal trades for junior college students. The school maintains a modern fleet of school busses which enables the college students to live at home and attend college without paying tuition. The school has been liberally supported by the citizens of Hinds County through the years which has gone a long way in lifting the morale and enriching the lives of the people in Hinds County. This annual is a pictorial review of the schoo1's program here at Utica Junior College. We hope that everyone who will read it will get an insight into the college that has meant so much to so many, so long, here in Hinds County. WQLMW Pl
