National Honor Society Selected on the basis of scholarship, leadership, character, and service, these seniors were chosen as charter members of the Utica chapter of the National High School Honor Society known as the Florence Burk Chapter. The aim of this society is not to honor one outstanding ability as other organi- zations do, but rather to give recognition to those students who excell in all of the things we attempt to acquire during our high school career. No honor given by Utica High School exceeds that of membership in the National Honor Society. 60
